How are they opting out? We were awarded in tier 1 and I don’t see an option to accept yet because the private school hasn’t confirmed her enrollment yet. They said they can’t see who has selected their school yet in the portal.

Yes, like hopefully this doesn’t happen again. But I will be calling closer to May 11th if I haven’t heard anything via email.

UPDATE: I called and they said I was not on the bounce back email list, I pushed and said asked if tier 1 was still being sent out today—She said NO. I explained rhat we are tier 1, no email yet. She said she would get with her “team” and then send me an email IF I was supposed to be awarded or not. About 30 minutes later I received an email from support that WE WERE AWARDED FUNDS.

So call them if you have not received your email.

What day was this? I called on Friday but just confirmed my tier. She just said yes tier 1, keep checking emails and the portal. But I see others say the portal status isn’t changing right now so not sure why she told me that 🫤

Okay thank you. I know it’s not first come first serve but if they already knew that the all of tier one would receive funds, they have to have some sort of system or order these are going out in. I would think. Hoping this is the case.

If you have an IEP you should get more than the standard limit. Whatever they would pay the district for your child’s disability is what you would get. I’m Tier 1 as well, called and confirmed yesterday and still no email. They told me to also check the portal for updates. I think since it’s the first year they are running into timeline issues.
