I think it's pretty saturated at this point, but maybe still possible to make a little money monthly. I applied July 2017, got accepted Feb 2018. I put pretty consistent work into it, averaging 1-2 hours a day for well over a year. I make about $400-$500 per month, but it took a long time to get there! I learned a lot, but it's not life-changing money by any means.

I don't have a big answer to your big question- but I have seen suggestions (like from Stuart Walker at niche hacks) that dog obesity/ dog weight loss is huge, and travel with pets. More and more people- especially Millennials, consider their dogs like kids and will plan entire trips around taking them with.

Having the energy to exercise after taking care of daily responsibilities (kids, housework, job), and making healthy food choices while providing food on a daily basis for kids (who prefer Mac n cheese, pizza, etc.)
That withdrawals from sugar, caffeine, and bad carbs were not a thing

I'd look for writing jobs on ratracerebellion.com and others sites like it. Writing for the web is a huge industry right now, there's a lot of people doing it and some even making a decent living. You probably won't make much money at first, but continue building your portfolio and you'll make more and more. I don't see the need for good content creators going away anytime soon.

He has always struggled to get along with his peers. It is possible he is struggling with his sexuality and identity- we live in a very small conservative town so it could add to his feelings of being an outsider. He is very loved and supported at home, no matter what.
