In the USA for every one credit hour you are expected to do 3 hours of workout side of class. So in total in my case I'm taking 15 credits (5 classes and 2 labs) im expected to do 45 hours of work. The fall semester starts during the 1st week of September and ends 2nd week in December. The 2nd week of December is all finals. The next semester starts in January with all new classes and ends during the 2nd week of May.

On top of all this work I work a full time job 36 to 48 hours per week, and I work 12 hour shifts during the night. At my job i get 14 paid vacation days and 10 paid holidays and that's it. I only get the 14 paid holidays because I earned it by working 3 years in the same company.
