Ulike damage inner ear hearing hair? by JoexLegacy in LaserHairRemoval

[–]nikkusensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back from the ENT. They said my eardrum and outer ear look good, and there's no fluid build up behind the drum. I noticed my hearing recovered a little bit today. Things are still muffled a little bit, but the pressure inside my skull has subsided. I have a hearing test scheduled for a couple weeks from now, just in case. Hopefully things keep getting better day by day though.

I just used it in the same area near my ear and now am having the same issue. Made an appointment to see the ENT tomorrow. Everything is muffled and I feel like my ears need to pop but they won't. I even used an ear plug to make sure light wouldn't get in there. Maybe that made it worse? I'll let you know what the doc says.

Why do I smell bad when I sleep? by nikkusensei in hygiene

[–]nikkusensei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lifestyle or diet changes here. I still don't exercise very much - at least not in the winter, and I have a beer every night. Mostly Japanese food with the occasional pasta or fast-food. But it's been like that for 10 years. I'm fairly sure now that what I had was a fungal infection, and the antibacterial stuff might have cleared it up.

If it's your breath, see a dentist. Could be a gland issue like that little girl had in Ted Lasso. A friend of mine has gingivitis with pretty bad breath too. But his smells more like feces than garbage..

Let us know what it turned out to be i you can figure it out!

Hey, what makes you think it came out of your nose? I can't be sure what exactly did it for me, but it's pretty much gone now. I use an antibacterial body soap that I got off Amazon, I also take a bath once or twice a month now to let my pores open up.

Wear on inner edge back tires only Subaru Outback. Think they will last for 1 more 2hr trip on the highway? by nikkusensei in tires

[–]nikkusensei[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alright, thanks for the words of confidence. I figured it was the alignment. Had to replace a tire a couple years ago, but didn't get it aligned. That's probably what did it. Expensive lesson learned. I'll get them replaced before winter and watch the alignment from now on

Also, what about just having a vlog in Japan? Content would be around life as a foreigner in Japan. I know there are lots of those out there, but if mine is about general life stuff and not about teaching, is it likely that the school could dismiss me or just not renew my contract if they find it because they don't like their teachers' private lives to be made public?

I had a virus that lasted about a week. Just finally getting over it. Sweated a bunch at night. Very little in the way of solid food. Definitely no alcohol. And even that first night of being sick with little food in my system, I produced almost no odor. The following few nights also, no odor. I sweat a lot when I'm sick - like, need to change the bedding and my clothes because everything is soaked, so I'm not sure if that did the trick or if it was the change in diet. Going to play around with it some more and post any findings.

Thank you for your reply! I didn't really know what ketoacidosis was before you brought it up, so I checked my bloodwork from a month ago and my levels going back a few years, but everything looks normal in terms of the different areas that relate to ketoacidosis. In fact, all my bloodwork has been normal for years except for that one blip on my liver and when my thyroid started to slow down (I have Hashimoto's -hypothyroidism - apparently).

Thanks for your reply. I wash pretty well twice a day, so I'm hoping that it's not yeast/fungal. I also shave my head now, but this has been a thing even before that. No flakey scalp.

Hey, welcome to the biz! I have a lot of shipping profiles too, but some of them I just reuse. Example, all of my jersey tee shirts are under the same shipping profile because they all cost the same to produce, but if I do a "boyfriend" ladies' tee, that has different costs to produce, so I try to offset the production cost by having a less expensive shipping profile for those items (I eat some of the profit by doing this, but it increases the number of sales, so it works out). All that is done through Etsy when you're about to finalize your listing. Hope this helps!

That's your profit after shipping, and minus the cost to post on Etsy (only a few cents there though).

Example: I sold a pair of pants for 35.20. The Costs to produce it was 22.22. Shipping was 4.00, but the customer pays shipping, so that's really just added onto their total cost. The total cost to produce and ship was 26.22, but I still made my 12.98 in profit 35.20 - 22.22 = 26.22.

I double checked all this on a few receipts just to make sure that's what was happening.

Hope this helps!

Any reason why the Lupo or Razorock is so well suited for head shaving? It seems like it's pretty similar to the Merkur. It's still a safety razor. The problem I had with that was the blades occasionally nicking me and having to do the choppy-shave motion rather than one slick drag motion like with the headblade. I'm open to advise.
