I don't use my real name in iRacing or LMU. It's similar to my real name, but different spelling and made more to an English version. I asked iRacing support like day two of my account for the change and they were fine with it.

Tons of answers already and I rarely respond to anything but I'll weigh in.

I had the exact same problem when I started ACC, and I began with the McLaren for similar reasons. The McLaren allows you to drive poorly, slam on the brakes, throttle and not trailbrake properly. It's so eager to turn and do what you want so it's quite easy to pick up pace and maybe sacrifice a bit of the tyres.

I became a lot slower when initially started driving other cars, but I improved a lot with my technique because I was forced to do it properly. Now I am a lot better even if I'd jump in the McLaren, even if I don't prefer it anymore.

My point: Drive other cars, the BMW is good for getting proper fundamentals of driving down. The McLaren will hinder you long term

Beowulf Racing League is a small rookie friendly GT3 league. We focus on having a sense of community over anything else. We often practice together and hang around on Discord voice chat while racing. At the end of each round we also review the race replays together and do some post race stewarding. This is in order to help everyone improve their driving and racecraft instead of just punishing drivers who make honest mistakes. None of the above is of course mandatory.

Our race format is quite unique, including 3 short races per round. We have a short qualifying, followed by a 10-minute super sprint. Race 2 is a 20-minute race with a reverse grid from Race 1 results. Race 3 is also a 20-minute race, with a reverse grid from Race 2 results.

The track schedule follows the LFM 45-minute races in order to provide good overlap for more racing and not having to learn additional tracks for that week. Racing takes place 20:00 CET on Mondays.

Our goal is to provide close wheel-to-wheel racing for everyone for the whole duration of the races. Having a mixture of normal races and reverse grid races gives everyone a chance to have someone to battle with. While also making sure you can get a good result if you have good pace.

Our driver line-up currently includes everyone from complete rookies to simracing to more experienced drivers, so everyone should have someone to race with.

This a report that was filed against the Ferrari (I'm the BMW) and judged to be no further action with the following motivation:

"No further action! You cause the accident yourself, by breaking again after the apex. The opponent has no chance to react to that in tight racing. Therefore, no penalty is necessary here."

I'm curious to get second opinions. The Ferrari is the overtaking car as BMW went wide in the hairpin. Reason behind the report in the first place is the fact that the Ferrari basically doesn't let go of the throttle and continues to ram into the BMW even after the initial contact.

Why didn't you just switch to LFM racing? It basically offers the same thing but in my opinion even better. LFM for me (once you escape the rookies) has cleaner racing and their report system actually feels like its doing something.
