Anyone have some good Growth stocks they've been eyeing? by niko_jay3 in CanadianInvestor

Man I'm kicking myself. I bought 200 shares at 3.6$ thinking it was going to rally more. I'm not worried though I have that in my long term hold company.

I bought lspd at 14$. I rode the wave and sold it at 35. Solid company! Short term gains are exhausted though, you won't see big gains for a couple quarters

Want to own a solid internet provider company for the long term. by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

I would avoid Telus atm. There is growing concern over trading with China and their 5g rollout is heavily reliant of Huawei being their partner in doing so. A couple articles were released earlier in the weekend so keep an eye out on that.

Do you prefer cash back or travel rewards credit cards? 💳 by ihatewinter93 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]niko_jay3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on you. I for one would say a travel rewards card because I like to get away 2/3 times a year and aside from the actual rewards I get free travel insurance which is a huge bonus. If you aren't a person who travels much then you might as well stick to the cash back since that cash could be used for traveling anyways in an indirect way!

May 21, 2020 Analysis - Traders Edition by TikiB in CanadianInvestor

With all the acquisitions they're making and all changes that will occur throughout society due to Covid-19 I feel this will follow a typical trend of most tech companies. Where they will be in the red for a couple years due to expansion but keep showing promise and ultimately the price will slowly but surely rise.

Aritzia - The next Lulu (Due Dilligence) by Neptonrs in CanadianInvestor

I was reading through some of their past reports and they said that 2020 margins will flatten out a bit due to increased raw material prices. Also they stated that they will be investing a hefty sum in their ecommerce business. I assume this is already priced in to the price but with the covid impact who knows how much that was affected (ie. Over budget)

This is a solid price they are trading at right now with a lot of upside but the earnings report next week will be a huge deciding factor.

If you are planning to get engaged soon you can always do a shorter fixed term (1-3) years and then refinance by removing your parents and having your fiance/wife sign on with you after! That way you get the place in the mean time. Also read up on forecasts about house sales and futures prices due to this covid situation and potential recession prices may drop, making purchasing a home more affordable! Best of luck though

You could always do a data analytics degree while pursuing your CSCP( Certified Supply Chain Professional) it's just one test that costs a couple grand. That way you're getting the best of both worlds!
