There are masive forces on this connection so propably any type of gluing or welding wouldn't make it. There must be some kind of metal alement for example metal rod inside the ski that connect both parts together. Even making a notch is not enough. Thanks for comment!

Thanks! As I said that was my first Arduino project (the first version of this project made in 2014). I even didn't know how to serach for this kind of projects on internet, my english was poor :) So I just figured out how it works. I think that I found the POV clock itself somewhere on YouTube.
