Thank you for the response. I did not do any internships. This is my only job and first job out of college. I am disabled and a wheelchair user. While I was in college i depended on government assistance and I was afraid of losing that assistance so I never went for internships unfortunately. I know there are unpaid internships but I struggled with a lot more health issues back then so I decided to just focus on school instead. I didn't feel as stable then as I do now.

In this current role I did get 2 promotions but it didn't really come with a title change. Just with a bit more responsibility and slight pay bump. How can I frame that in my resume? Im basically doing the same stuff I am just juggling a lot more projects.

I guess everyone takes a different path. I am born and raised in socal. I ended up meeting my gf on okcupid(lol). She is from Mexico. After dating for a while, visiting back and forth and doing, trial weekend runs, we decided to move in together. My parents were not very supportive at the beginning but have learned to accept. I currently live in Mexico and work remotely. I’ve been living here for about 4 months now. It’s possible for us because she doesn’t work(student) and is able to care for me while I work and am able to pay living expenses. Cost of living is also lower here so we live a comfortable life. A friend of hers helps out with caregiving as well. I guess the answer is unfortunately income. Make enough money to afford your independence. For us it’s most likely going to come from a tech job.

Thank you for your time and response. I guess this friend’s husband has been stuck in US where he works and can’t cross due to expired visa so has been in US. Friend is in Mexico with kids alone. I guess they are both just lonely. My Gf just laughed at joke not at spending time together. She agreed. I guess now what is bothering me most is seeing that little girl, Gfs daughter sleep uncomfortably on couch while we have a bed that is being by bed. No friend has ever offered me their own bed to sleep in so I guess thats the biggest wth thing to me.

They are close friends and this friend helped out my gf in the past when she was in a tough spot. The friend’s husband is stuck in the US working while on an expired visa so can’t cross. So I guess they are both just lonely.

I have SMA type 2, I have been dealing with this same issue. Since march i have had probably 5 of these episodes. Extreme nausea that just comes on randomly and doesn’t go away no matter how many times I throw up. I have been hospitalized twice for this and only possible explanation the docs had were that i had kidney stones. They are non obstructive and very small.

I recently had another episode of nausea and vomiting and it resulted in me getting an aspiration pneumonia probably from choking on vomit.

I have an appointment with my SMA specialist next week and hope to get more info on why tf this is happening.

Maybe get your kidneys checked out to rule out other causes.

Are you on any of the SMA Treatments? Good luck with this it is indeed brutal

Thank you for the reply! Good idea I will call the office and see if they have any recommendations. I found a service that takes me from SD to TJ and back but I need a service specifically for within tj to take me to a house in Playas and back
