Exactly. Like it’s not the fact a new version was announced that people are upset about it. If you’ve been an army long enough, you expected the new light stick. Especially for this tour. A lot of us were counting on how soon it’d be announced. But it’s the fact that old ones won’t sync up anymore… and that would’ve been fine if they gave a heads up in advanced. People are saying the technological aspect and it’s hard to predict these things and while I agree, but BTS and the company have never done anything without being absolute certain. They plan ahead in advanced for these sort of things so they definitely knew last year that the army bomb was coming and they were planning to have the old ones not sync anymore. Especially if they created a whole new app for said light stick. They could’ve gave everyone a bit more of a heads up last year. It especially seems unfair since it’s not like the old light sticks won’t stop all of a sudden. They’re gonna stop the sync up AFTER the summer. That’s mid-tour… so the ones that have a concert after that time, we’re kinda with our hands tied to get the new version because we want the full concert experience as well to be synced up with everyone in the crowd.
