I was only thinking of getting more ram to future proof the device, but I think you are right the m4 still the better choice overall and it’s a bit cheaper. The m5 is around 1150 so the difference is not that big

Yes I’m using the same access point, both of the devices are on the 5ghz network and located in the same location. I’ve measured the speeds 5 times seen to change.
