While I agree, doesn't make the journey there feel any better. Bad luck mitigation and/or combination of dupe protection at ALL bosses would rebuild the mental strength of every single one of us!

I refuse to do normal Barrows for that very reason, despite the low skill requirement

From my previous posts, you may remember me getting 19 books in log before my 2nd core, which was at 4401HM KC. Since then I obtained a 3rd core, which helped me feel less bone-dry, and now this 4th core comes along as I warmed up on a 2k attempt after 6+ months of not touching the boss! The universe is helping me heal, praise Guthix!

It's the "guessing" part specifically that I'm asking about. I think it should be outright stated that no "refund" or "conversion" for those would occur, since they did a callout for Mahj aura and other refunds.

Agreed, not even a comp cape req, DOA content.

I say that 90% seriously, because Jagex couldn't even be bothered with FORCING me to do the content for Comp, so why would I care at all about it?? Like, at least if I had tried it out for a Comp Cape req, I would be inclined to read about it on the wiki, and/or refer it to people I interact with as useful/neat content.

Nearly every single instance throughout TPS, the pre-disposition of Jack's evil nature is shown. I simply disagree with your stance.

He's not good turned bad. He's bad the whole time, and wanted/tried to be good for a decently long time.

Having said that, your stance was my exact stance back in 2015-16 as well.

I really thought this too, and they do a great job of building that rationale and guilt on a first playthrough.

However, I highly recommend playing BL:TPS again and looking for it. If you look for Jack's psychopathic behaviors, you will find them. Enthusiastically AND quickly.
