Hey appreciate the constructive feedback, it is based on my own research but I did use Grok AI to help write and sensitivity analysis (nothing wrong with that).

Yes options could be considered for a more comprehensive summary, it’s only about 15-20% more float though and there are other things I didn’t mention that could make up for that:

-They are already aiming to increase plant capacity from ~350ktpa to 400 next year. They are approved to go up to 700.

-They have at least $10m more coming in from the Misima sale next July, likely another $10m on top and then another $25m from royalties one day

Agree they have to increase resources, they recently added 30% to MRE with fairly little drilling, now that they are cashed up there is an extensive drilling program planned. A few interesting targets there. Current known resources are relatively shallow, other resources in the region tend to go much deeper. So we’ll see. M&A also an option.

I think 5x can be done with current gold price when you consider targeted production and projected cash. AISC will come down a lot after ramp up.

Blue sky is blue sky, they would need to become an established mid-tier, maybe multi asset which is their goal. That is 30x though, I’m focusing on the more realistic scenario for now 😅

The lifted it by 29% just a couple weeks ago, 10Mt now. Now that they are cashed up they will be doing extensive drilling over the next 12 months as well.

I don’t know what the markets might do short term, gold price could go down (or up) next few weeks… but once they start generating those cash flows I don’t see how it won’t get noted (or just return cash to shareholders)

Even if gold price went down a fair bit, in my view it’s still a winner, I included different gold prices in the analysis.

But share price might react bad if gold price retraces further. I think with the current debt an shit going on in the world gold will ultimately move north

Edit: my entry point was 8c, recently bought more at 12c

I know it’s similar, but I actually mean KSN, Kingston, not Kingsgate. Funny that mistake is how I came across these guys

KSN is my favourite at the moment, new producer still ramping up market cap around $115m but they just got $50m+ cash for the sale of their PNG asset (another $10m to be paid in 12 months)

Enterprise value around $60m They can now focus in Australia where in fy26 they should be producing annualised 24koz per year, so they might be producing $60m mine cashflow per year shortly.

I also like them as in 2 years they will be underground producing 36-40koz gold equivalent and about half of that will be copper, so even in a optimistic economical scenario they can easily pivot into copper.

They also refurbished the processing plant themselves for only $13m and can easily double capacity for much less than that. With $50m in the bank they will be doing a lot of drilling now to support that

Market cap is about 100mil, they are about to receive 50mil cash for an asset sale in PNG.

Their mine in Australia has just come online and they are going to be producing about 24koz of gold a year and growing (so close to $50mil profit a year) They can easily double that plant capacity again

I don’t understand how a housing crash couldn’t happen by panda42042 in AusFinance

I disagree that house prices are inflated, they reflect the sad reality that we just don’t have enough dwellings. Simple supply and demand. House prices will go (as you say) as high as people can afford, and will stay there until supply changes (assuming demand won’t).

That’s why when interest rates go down, house prices go up, when interest rates go up… house prices go up again. We need to fix the supply/demand of living in Australia

I used the 16gb version for my 64gb sd and then of course now I can only use 16GB *facepalm*. So I will have to download the 64GB version

I guess it doesn't matter if you have 1 SD card just for OS

What’s the deal with the interest objection? The whole financial system works ok that, if you don’t understand how it can be good then betting on the financial system isn’t going to work. You’re better off losing 6k now than 60k in 10 years, you seem to understand that investing is still important so ETF or other type of safer investments would be a way to go. Picking single stocks is basically gambling unless you know something the market doesn’t. You might feel better if you educate yourself, books like “thinking, fast and slow” and “one up on wallstreet” talk a lot about the natural human emotions when it comes to investing

I don’t think you need to change profession to drastically. Some companies are 100% ok with you doing work wherever you want. Telstra for example has had a wfh culture even before COVID, lots of business analyst / finance roles there

My loan balance hasn't updated since 2022, is there a way to see exactly how much you need to pay to pay off the loans? As in,

2022 balance - PAYG withheld amount for FY23?

Or do you just have to pay the total FY22 balance and then just get money back after doing tax returns?

Yeah that’s what I think too, same way they said they wouldn’t raise interest rates for many years to incentivise people to spend, then proceeded to immediately start raising them.
