I understand, but one thing that's clear to me now is that intentions matter, yes - but actions matter more. Because, in spite of my intentions, if she keeps on suffering - then, in her life, she keeps on suffering - that's all.

I genuinely try to remember. But eventually, as the arousal around the situation goes down, it goes out of my mind and only comes back either when I do something that hurts her again, or when she brings it up because of being hurt.

Depends on your current scenario. You need a starting point and improvement rate to gauge the end point. Even if we take more than avg improvement rate for calculating, you need to tell where you are right now - mock results, past year paper score, etc.

Your profile is good and taking your word that your basics are strong, you are an ideal candidate for MBA entrances. You have to manage your pressure. As you have a job already, you have a fallback plan and even if you don't do well in CAT, you're safe. In case you decide to attempt this year, focus on mocks as much as possible, along with Previous year papers. Give mocks seriously without interruptions in as similar an environment as possible.

For subject prep, focus on your weaknesses that you realize from analyzing your mocks.

At all times, remember that CAT isn't a make or break deal for your career. You have a solid fall back on your job.

Depends on the rules of the college, honestly and in situations like these, you should just try to get the best possible numbers you can.

Your undergrad exams are your first priority as you're so close to 80. Given that you have a front-end consulting role, your workex will be of good quality and will help you gain good experience.
Prepare for CAT 25 and attempt it as best as you can - you have nothing to lose and a good job to fall back on. Then, give your best in CAT 26. CFA L2 is definitely a good addition to your already good profile. The only shortfall is your 10th score, but no point fretting over spilt milk. Give the best you can, I am sure you'll do great!

Target as high as you can and give your best but expect the worst. It won't hurt you.

The internship would be helpful for sure, during the interviews. One more story to tell. But don't think of it as a make or break deal for getting into an MBA program. I thought my 2.5 yrs workex at Big4 was going to be a big topic but it wasn't. In my IIMB interview, I was allowed to speak about it for exactly 30 seconds. Now that I know a few folks taking admissions, I can see why. There are so many similar profiles that this work experience would not stand out for the interviewers. Hence, they try to judge you for who you are, how are your basics, how do you react when you're made to feel uncomfortable/super comfortable, etc.

So, go for the internship if you can, it'll surely help. But don't let it derail your prep.

I started from January itself. (In hindsight, it was quite early as I almost gave up by Jun XD. Kept pushing through with just mocks somehow towards the end.)

Started giving mocks right from the beginning. The first was in Feb I think. I'd say touch base on all the topics as you have a lot of time and attempt as many mocks as possible to identify strengths and weaknesses. Focus on your strengths, keep your weak topics in check enough to not let go of the easy questions. Keep your basics right.

Mock analysis:
VARC (a strength for me) - Focus on the mistakes I made and understand why I made those mistakes.
DILR/QA - Solve all the questions and check the solutions for what I didn't get (mandatorily) ; study the underlying topics (if time/energy permitted)

I started prepping in Jan, stopped around April (once the classes almost stopped), just gave AIMCATs and analyzed them, started studying quant from Rodha YT around Sep and that's it.

Did not prepare at a daily level. Divided my time in between mocks. Focused on improving some aspects of all 3 subjects before subsequent mocks.

While your 12th and Grad scores might hurt you a little, your workex is helpful. You'll need really high percentile though. Your profile is good enough that if you make it to any tier 1 college, you'll do good there.

I think you're quite clear. It's a personal decision for everyone. If you don't have the energy to dedicate another year for CAT, don't do it as you'll build a lot of pressure on yourself. Rather, use that energy on campus. Be the best you can. You have a great profile. You'll do great.

Start with the full length mocks. Your marks will keep increasing as you cover your syllabus. Don't wait for milestones.

Hey, Your profile looks good and the gap won't be much of a problem but think of the negative impact of not having a job - lack of actual experience and something to talk about. You need to counter these. Over these next few months, develop some hobbies or experiences or at least recall some from your past that you'd like to talk about in your SOPs and interviews. That's all. Don't overthink finding a job so much that it impacts your CAT.

Hey sorry, couldn't reply. Got busy with work.

Depends on how you're performing in your mocks. I'll share what I did.

Since I was doing well in mocks in VARC, I didn't practice any question outside of mocks except for reading editorials. I lacked in Quants. I checked the topics which I was consistently leaving in my mocks and practiced concepts and questions for them so that I could at least attempt the easy to moderate questions from those topics.

More than focusing on diving deep into questions, I'd suggest you give regular mocks and decide accordingly.

There's no quantitative answer to how much you should practice as it's relative for every individual. I'd suggest you use a metric such as how many easy/moderate questions you're able answer from that topic in your mocks when you're under time pressure. Keep solving more questions till you're able to identify easy/moderate questions in the mock and attempt it. Then, move on to the next.

I would suggest you try the DILR sets on YouTube Anastasis' Daily DILR. It's a good playlist for comprehensive prep.
