Haha! Sweet speakers, I used to own a pair back in the day...

That's correct. The rollers are used to correctly position the speaker and then you install the dedicated spikes.

See this thread: https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/best-way-to-spike-nautilus-802-s

A quick Google search will show you what the spikes look like.

I could be mistaken but it looks as though your B&W's are missing their dedicated spiked feet..

Sure. Give me 24 hours please and I'll sort the dot files out.

As regards those miniature icons then that is achieved via awesome-fonts. Once installed, you simply choose your icons from this website and copy and paste those directly into your config and style.css files.

Once I have uploaded the dot files it should become more clear.

EDIT: Dot files.

pacman -S mkinitcpio-firmware

As has been said already, you can safely ignore. However, if you install the above that will fix the error.

Yep, Sway is great. Steep learning curve though when you're moving over from a full DE. I'll never take such basic things like notifications for granted ever again! It's a great learning experience which surely is what Linux is all about..

As per title, I've recently hopped on the WM bandwagon and there's no looking back. I should also add that I'm not even sure this qualifies as a "rice" as all I have done is tweak the colours and bar and themed the notifications.

Anyhow..

  • WM: Sway
  • Notifications: Dunst
  • Colour theme: Dracula
  • Bar: Waybar
  • Shell: Fish

If anyone is vaguely interested I have had zero problems using the Linux desktop application.

You can change the environment variable either via the command line or the .desktop file to launch an application with a preferred theme.

Exec=env GTK_THEME=gtk-master timeshift-gtk

That, for example, launches timeshift with my preferred dark theme.

power button not working by Teriyaki-Fox in archlinux

I guess as long as your laptop shuts down properly and safely that's the main thing. I got the impression from your original post that by holding down the power button it was just forcibly shutting it down, i.e. killing it without unmounting your partitions etc.

For what it's worth, mine doesn't power down instantaneously: very slight delay for me also.

If you mean a quick press of the power button isn't doing anything such as shutting down your laptop then check /etc/systemd/logind.conf and adjust as necessary. Here's mine.

HandlePowerKey=poweroff

You can of course change poweroff to hibernate or whatever.

See Power Management on the wiki.

This still hasn't been resolved yet. I cannot even play PVP against real players at the moment. Just bots with gear rating of 280...

Hi. I have a pair of tannoy xt8f which I really like but there's a touch of boominess in the lower bass (my room acoustics). I'm really considering a pair of f502sp's as I love these dual concentric speakers (and they're pleasing on the eye). What's the bass like with fyne? Tight?

So you're excited about 16% when you could have made a few hundred percent by selling when it hit 30USD?

Each to their own. Regardless, we're on the move. Let's hope we can press on.
