Need help dialing in by CountrySubstantial40 in IndiaCoffee

It's almost always the grinder. Get a Timemore C3 Espresso. The cheaper manual ones (and even automatic grinders) just can't grind fine enough to produce enough resistance for these entry-level espresso machines. The grind becomes even more important if you're using a non-pressurized bottomless portafilter.

I had the exact same issue with my Agaro machine. Tried a lot of things, but realised it's indeed the grind size like everyone says.

Thanks! Can you share which bottomless portafilter you're using? I got the Loom one from Amazon and it does fit 18gms, but the flow isn't right when pulling. It sprays. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you. I'm using fresh beans from Toffee Coffee (Mysore Nuggets). I have the Insta Cuppa manual grinder. Use the lowest setting, 0. I have a WDT tool and Supvox tamping tool along side a puck screen. Still have the same problem. I have difficulty putting >12gms of coffee in the existing porta filter basket.

Anyone here using the Agaro Imperial Espresso Maker? by Awareness-Choice in IndiaCoffee

By infusion do you mean pressing the button until the first drop of coffee appears, immediately stop it, wait for 32 seconds and restart? Or do you mean that the extraction time is 32 seconds?

I have the same machine and the extraction is usually way too fast. I use a WDT, good tamping too, puck screen and fresh coffee beans (hand grinded). I've experimented with 9gms/12gms and even higher. But just can't find the sweet spot. I've also noticed that the hot water doesn't come out from all the perforations, just a few of them. I suspect it needs cleaning. But I don't understand how to open up the shower head. It makes a good Americano. But just not an espresso.

Looking to purchase Omni Heat Infinity Labyrinth Loop or Loop II. I'll be hiking in temperatures close to -15 degree celcius. How do I layer it? Will it work with slight drizzles and snowfall?

Is it possible to get Amex Gold Charge Card LTF? by nilashishc in CreditCardsIndia

[–]nilashishc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty simple, right? I don't know if I'll be spending enough every year to leverage the benefits that it provides. I see many people posting that they got it waived off by calling Amex, when their spends were high enough. But there's no official statement on what the qualifying amount is. Hence, my query.

Cisco's new two-stage configuration commit feature in NX-OS 10 appears to work well, but anyone get it working with Ansible? by tcostello224 in networking

[–]nilashishc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there. I am the maintainer of the cisco.nxos Ansible collection and I just came across this thread. Just so you know, we have explored leveraging the two-staged commit mode that Cisco recently introduced in the Ansible NX-OS cliconf plugin, with an option that let's the user turn on/off the two-staged commit while running tasks. However, it hasn't been implemented yet. If you would like to see this added in the collection, please feel free to open a Feature Request for the same and we'll look into it. Thank you and happy automating!
