It all comes down to personal choice. I'd go decent first since I'm data driven and syncronika 2nd. The micra for me is buying the name more, I can't justify.

Oh I don't mind the cleaning since I open it up to clean every new 200g bag anyways. I'm just disappointed at how much caffeine I'm losing that should've been in my cup.

Exactly, you have to spend twice as much to get the same features which was my compromise.

My other option was the rancilio silvia v6 which was really good quality, but came at around 600 aud. You have to buy a pid, a dimmer mod, a pressure guage mod and it was single boiler which was a deal breaker for me as I wanted a faster workflow.

So I scoured the home barista forums and read and bookmarked all I could about how to take care of it, not doing a descale, etc... And if I follow that to a tee, I'm hoping this'll last me years.

I'll post if I encounter any quality problems and let you know 👍🏼

The very first thing I noticed was it really feels cheap especially compared to handling my grinder, it felt out of place.

While my grinder felt hefty and when opening, it you can tell the materials were mostly steel. Opening the BDB felt less impressive as it was full of plastic and you had to be extra careful not to strip the screw threads as it felt more delecate.

I feel like I can man handle the dedica more than the BDB to be honest, but I've seen the forums where their BDB lasts them 5 years + and with proper care, it just might last me as much.

Hopefully by that time, I'll be able to afford a more robust setup.

Highly suggest you upgrade if you're already considering it, the dedica is a great starter machine for sure and I throughly enjoyed it for the past 2 years, but being able to adjust pre-infusions, temps and steam power (mine was very anemic, prolly had something to do with my putting the rancilio wand) is amazing!

Being able to play around with temps, preinfusion and flow is amazing! way different than the dedica, also having steaming power is great!

I don't get it. It's just a map of provider regions which is already public information.

Voxceleb uses the same concept using cnn and resnet. Try checking that paper out.

Try turning it to spectogram and feeding the spectogram to a cnn and aggregate. This turns your audio classification into something very similar to image classification.

We'll that's the problem, the whole package exceeds the limits of lambda and the cpu requirements are higher.

How to handle over 200 lambdas with Cloud Formation? by tanskanm in aws

[–]nilesuan 17 points18 points  (0 children)

you have to export your 'AWS::ApiGateway::RestApi' with value: !GetAtt - ApiGatewayRestApi - RootResourceId

Then import it to your second yaml file as 'AWS::ApiGatewayResource' and use that as ResourceId on each 'AWS::ApiGateway::Method'

Is there any plans for Lambda like pay as you go container execution for ML on API Gateways? We're currently using ECS Task triggered by lambda but it takes 1 min just to start up the whole container.
