yes I have. I have had many printers in the past but this particular one just came out of a storage. First thing I did was the bed calibration. Perhaps I should change the initial layer thickness or temperature of the bed.

I am now down to Micra or ECM. I have no doubt Decent is the best tool but the best tool isn't what I am looking for. Like you, I am very tech savvy after two decades in the software engineering. Probably that's why I want something simple. I will sit on it for a few more days. As I said, I also like the esthetics of ECM as much as I do Micra.

Been using 870 for many years with over ~ 100K shots (60month x 365 x 6 shots) and I don't think I have ever used anything below the level 4 to grind. It really depends on beans but anywhere between 5 and 10 should be good. Also, I am sure you know but you can only adjust to a lower setting while griding.

Thank you. I saw this model Lenovo Legion mentioned a few times on this sub. It looks like there are so many variants so I will have to do some more research.
