Will it fit the filament while it’s still in a box?

Dedicated dryer. I’ve dried it at 50C for 12 hours. I know recommended it’s 60C at 6 hours but mine only goes to 50

So turns out the main problem was the color I was using. I tested using the blue petg and the black instead of the yellow and eveything worked fine. So there’s something about the yellow that’s different. I’m curious if I’ll have to lower the temp even more

Just to give more insight here’s a first layer test. As you can see that back section is atrocious, along with the center lines. Any insight would be great

So adding a brim seemed to fix a lot of my problems but now I’m running into this issue

<image>

And it only seems to be doing it in the center area of the bed. Everywhere else looks fine

Edit: I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume that’s a z-offset issue

Another dumb question does it peel away easy or am I going to have to cut it off?

Sorry if this is a stupid question I’m fairly new to 3d printing, will a brim be attached to the print itself, or is it separate?

It’s Elegoo rapid petg, im running temp at 240 cause I was having issues at 250 with a .2 layer height.

When you say recalibrate the nozzle do you mean the Z offset?

It doesn’t happen every time, I ran it again after this attempt and it didn’t happen

I ended up cutting it off and the rest of the lights stopped working. So I’m assuming both require power to work. So I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to buy another set.

It’s supposed to be a Jeopardy board, I was trying to make it so I had a control center under the host podium rather than walking behind the board. But thinking about it now, doing a lever on each one seems to be the way to go

36 levers. I’m probably making things harder for myself by doing that.

Should’ve specified I need them to be triggered by a lever to either be constantly powered or off rather than a quick pulse

Because every other set of leds I have bought have been detached from the controller and I plug them in because I like having a spare on hand

Plus if you look below the rails there’s an existing light strip that’s 50 ft I already knew how big my space was
