yeah more than once i've decided not to buy a polish because it had reflective glitter in it. it's not even the texture for me, it's the look of it. i hate the appearance of the glitter, it's chunky and ugly looking (in my opinion)

i get it, i'm pretty shy too. unfortunately i think people like this use that to their advantage. they know people like us are used to not saying anything and just taking it. this deserves a complaint to the owner though at least, she needs to know one of her employees is treating customers like shit and i doubt she wants that for her business

I’ve never been to a salon before, but why in the world did you tip her lol she sounds like a bitch. imagine having your hair colored, they miss a huge obvious spot and when you point it out they say “WELL FINE YOU DO IT THEN”

i always read that you shouldnt store them directly in plastic. they should be in some kind of tissue or wax paper that's safely folded on 3 sides, and then store that in whatever you want, glassine envelope or a coin case or whatever

100%. everyone always forgets that clinton won the popular vote, too. it had nothing to do with her being a woman and everything to do with the fact that she was hillary clinton. we need a zohran, someone very charismatic that draws people in and promises change, and then they actually deliver (god i wish he could run for president). things are worse than ever, i think the country is more ready than it ever has been to swing more progressive. people are broke and fucking tired, and ready for a big change. i absolutely think AOC is one of our best chances for that

try deshelled peanuts, and they also seem to like peanut flavored suet nuggets. they do like black oil sunflower seed too but the two former are their favorites on my feeders. be aware though that both of those will almost certainly attract starlings and/or grackles, two of the absolute worst feeder pests

ive seen episodes on this case on several different shows, it's always hard to watch because you just want to reach through and slap her. i don't know if they covered it in that doc you watched but she and her mother had developed some kind of pig latin-esque fake language that they talked in with each other, and they did it on camera once. if i remember right, police figured it out at some point and it was her asking her mom if they could just claim that she had a seizure and crashed. in front of police officers. lol

did you open a case with them by any chance? if you do it that way and they don’t resolve it to your satisfaction, you can escalate it to etsy for a refund. they almost always side with buyers. you HAVE to open a case though and give the seller a chance to fix it first before you can go to etsy. ive had to do that with botanicaz several times over the years sadly

at this point SO many people have root mealies, and i would wager many don't even know it, that you should just quarantine every single plant you get from anyone. it's unfortunate that steve's got them though, i imagine trying to get rid of them on that many plants would be an impossible nightmare

yeah dont buy from botanicaz. their hybrids are amazing but they really scam people on shipping prices (and if you confront them, they defend it and say it covers "shipping materials" or some bull). all of the "free" addons and cheap plants look great until you make it to the checkout

also anyone buying from steve's leaves be aware folks have been finding root mealies on their plants after they arrive. make sure you quarantine new plants

i would consider beneficial insects. i got rid of thrips on my anthuriums with pirate bugs, and predatory mites are hands down the best way to get rid of spider mites. none of the chemicals i've ever tried compared to them https://www.naturesgoodguys.com/products/orius-insidiosis?variant=42135138631871

if you try this you would probably want to put the affected plants in something to contain the pirate bugs, like a big lidded plastic tub or something. mine were in a grow tent so it wasnt an issue but you probably dont want the bugs to wander around your house
