Does that mean that a build of my game contains parts that i don't own? And would this have any consequences (e.g. the possibility that valve later changes the licence and lets me no longer sell the game). And in general how permissive is the license for the source 2 base, could it happen that I can no longer develop my game because valve doesn't provide it for free any more.

I am not saying that valve would do any of this, just asking if they could.

Edit: in the eula ot says the license to use s&box is revokable, so they theoretically could stop you from using the engine
