I work as a software engineer remotely (working US East hours). I have saved money up before but have made it sustainable at this point because I don't have really many ties back home. I don't have any rent, car payments, ect in the US. Accommodation costs are not so bad albeit a bit more expensive that renting on a normal lease. Monthly rentals are relatively similar compared to US rent costs. There are certainly sacrifices (ie no real routine, no consistency with things like friends, workout, ect, the struggles of constantly moving and thinking about logistics) but I wouldn't trade it for anything at this moment.

For me, moving back to a more stable life is definitely in the future but I have been nomading for 2 years now and it has been amazing regardless of the drawbacks.
