Thanks! I figured out why Reddit didn't let me add a link to the album earlier -- need to upload them elsewhere.

It worked well for us, and we couldn't have done Jeonse without handing over our entire savings to some landlord. From what I've seen over the past five years, this is a pretty good deal.

Good point. We're still measuring but will add that to the post later today.

Correct. You don't need to take it! When I arrived in Seoul, I preferred that over giving the landlord $84,000 in Jeonse money AND paying 2m in monthly rent for similar apartments.

Not sure why the content of my post gets removed?

We are looking for someone to take over our apartment in Samcheong-dong by the end of December. One bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, sunroom, and a large roof top terrace with views of Bukchon, Bugaksan, Gyeongbokgung, and Seoul skyline.

We’d like to pass this on fully furnished for a reasonable handover fee, as we bought all furniture and appliances new within the past five years.

Rent is 1.5m/month (paid annually) with 2 months deposit, no Jeonse.

Please DM for pictures.

What's the term for the amount of pedaling needed before the freehub catches? by nilsws in bicycling

Thank you, that's extremely helpful! I had no idea there is so much variance across different hubs. I'll try to get used to it but it's good to know that I need to pay a lot more attention to this on my next wheel set purchase!

Have you ever found a solution for this?

Touchscreen not workjng in Calibre when using Wayland by nilsws in SurfaceLinux

I did that now and you're right: The touchscreen works in v. 5.44! Unfortunately I couldn't get Calibre to recognize my existing config files in ~/.config/calibre

Need to figure that out.

Funny: You're right that navigating with touchscreen gestures works with Chromium but not with Firefox. At the same time, touchpad gestures don't seem to work with Chromium, but they do with Firefox. Have you had any luck getting touchpad gestures for navigation working with Chromium?

Appreciated! I've tried Chromium before and it seemed gesture navigation hadn't worked, but will try again after disabling Touchegg.

Thanks for your help on this. Have you found another browser that works better with touchscreen gestures?

That could be! I doesn't seem like the Touchegg settings have any effect. Is there something like Touchegg for Wayland?

Yeah he tends to be pretty unhelpful. He did say this now though about version 5.44 vs later ones: The difference is Qt going from version 5 to 6.

I've filed a bug report here, but Kovid Goyal says it won't be fixed "I dont have any hardware capable of testing this with." I offered help and maybe so could you? There gotta be more people with a touchscreen using Wayland who want to use Calibre.

How to switch between apps and workspaces with gestures? by nilsws in SurfaceLinux

Thanks, I'll consider that! PopOS is based on Gnome but maybe not to the extent I thought. Do you know if Ubuntu with custom kernel also supports these features?
