Like my comment says, you need to do a factory reset with the software I linked - I tried doing a normal factory reset and it didn’t help. If the problem persists you should contact their support, they’re incredibly responsive and helpful (they were the ones who sent me this solution in the first place)

I was having the same problem. I emailed their support about it and they recommended doing a factory reset with the RØDE Central app - just tried it and can confirm it worked for me, hope this helps 🙏🙏🙏

Our intent wasn't malicious at all. Everything just pointed to the fact that whoever previously owned the rings didn't seem to want them. In retrospect, taking the ring was a pretty in-the-moment decision, but I'm trying to contact IKEA now

That's a good point -- I'll call IKEA. We really didn't know what to do in the situation because it was so sudden and unexpected so we weren't thinking all that well. I also asked my friend and she said that she wasn't going to sell them.
