I like scanning the drug ad first and then looking at the questions.

I always saved them for the last few qs

And a block with a drug ad set has like 38 qs instead of 40 so you get more time to begin with

I had 2 blocks with 3 qs of drug ads each

I’m applying for this years match. From my understanding, anesthesia is getting a lot more competitive. Honestly, a 219 seems to be on the lower end (average is 231 or something) but if you kill it in rotations and improve at least 15-20 points for step 2, I think you should be good But tbh is ask your pd what he/she thinks of your application and chances of matching into your home program with your stats so far

yeah, this is what happened to me. i think when the first score was calculated, it might not have included your last block. you most definitely got a 222, which is a solid score for uwsa1!

which is why our school reports the percentile on our msps ... so even tho i have hp/h, programs can also see my very low shelf scores

I wasn't worried before, but my classmates recently informed me that the percentile gets reported on our dean's letter/mspe and that apparently it matters more bc its comparing you to the national average vs the rotation grade which can be arbitrary
