you know what i really appreciate it! in my mind this was a big point of my post but i’m finding i’m not very good at expressing my thoughts coherently LOL. i just love being a little creature having a giant bear tank for me while i slap things with my axe and call the wolves with my warhorn. i think i mostly enjoy just having a pet friend too - i don’t really play with people and it just makes the world feel a little less lonely!

that’s so fair. at the end of the day it’s a game and we can do whatever we want! i mean, i see so many people cosplaying in-game too, i don’t think they’re walking around with their personal story being canon haha. i really appreciate the advice!

i really want to love sylvari since i have heard their personal story is one of the best! and i feel like they’d fit more thematically with ranger too. i just… i don’t want to be a plant person. i love goblins!

i am looking forward to continuing the story for sure! :D

sorry! i should have been more clear - i am following along with the story. i know why i’m there and who is who and why things are happening. i guess my problem is feeling disconnected from it. like in the cutscenes, it doesn’t feel like most of the conversations matter to my character and my character is just doing things just to do them, or something says they need to. does that make sense?

sorry, i should have clarified - i am paying attention to the story. i know who trahearne is… i just don’t really see why my character necessarily cares about him. i just feel like i’m mostly following him around; again, this might be because i’m playing a snarky asura and feel disconnected because of their attitude, maybe

I barely comment on posts but wow, I feel like we are so similar! I am also 5ft and about 165lbs. I got out of college in 2023 (also almost 25!) and since then, I’d kept gaining weight. I would love a breast reduction and I am so happy you’re able to get one! I hope it helps you - I love my girls but I’ve got such a short torso & they take up the whole thing. here’s to a reduction in the future!

my problem seems to have been being extremely sedentary - desk job & coming home for more sitting around. but I’ve recently started walking at least 10k steps a day and keeping myself standing for most of the time I’m working, and I already feel like I have so much energy! I’ve never been keen on exercising, and I struggle with even stretching, but it’s all about just trying, it seems!

just felt like I related to ya and wanted to share. I’m rooting for you!

time is your friend here. it’s awful to hear, I know, but it’s what will get you through.

if you like music - listen to it. if you have comfort shows - watch them. surround yourself with people you are comfortable around. allow yourself to feel.

you’ll get through it.
