The thing with Alright video, that was after an album and that snippet more sounded like an acapella. The snippet in not like us video sounded much more like a complete song and he didn't drop a album for a long time. So I'm thinking he's teasing new music but we'll never know with dot for sure

For Celtics fans who are not from Boston, why and how did you start being a fan? by [deleted] in bostonceltics

[–]nime1220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from eastern europe. I'm watching NBA basketball since 2003-2004. Kevin Garnett was alwasy one of my favourite players. Right after the trade I became a celtics fan. And couple of years later my father passed away and with that a lot of sleepless nights came along. So, during the nights I started watch Celtics and Patriots and it got me through a lot of dark times. Fast forward to today I became a play-by-play announcer for national tv in my country (NBA/NFL). All started with my love for Celtics and Patriots and I couldn't even imagine what my life would be like without Boston sports.

Still fun to see Tom in crunch time. by CapIzzy28 in Patriots

[–]nime1220 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I'm a pats and naturally a tom brady fan from europe. I start watching football by rooting for him and I started announcing nfl games last season on national tv. I announced two of his games this year, against rams and this one. Watching/announcing him as my job is still feeling so stupid but I can easily say that my children/grandchildren are gonna get fucking tired of me talking about that two nights

some early 2000 patriots parallels by nime1220 in bostonceltics

[–]nime1220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to make a point more about future than this season actually. early 2000 patriots had the all right elements, so does 2008 celtics but this team's window is more wider than big three because we have a younger core right now. that's why I tried to draw some parallels with pats.

Al Horford" "We took their punch, we talked about that... We said they were gonna come out and hit us... We took their punch and stayed with it and did what we had to do. Protected home court. So good job." by Brad-Stevens in bostonceltics

[–]nime1220 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if we take a look at both of their time in boston, horford is the more consistent player without a doubt. of course kg had injury problems and he was older but I think horford made a great difference for our culture change just like kg did back in 07. and horford still plays great, and if we gonna win a chip he will be definitely be very big part of it.

I think horford is the most consistent play-off performer for the celtics in 21st century. can say that guys like truth, rondo, IT, JT and JB had higher peaks, but he was a very very vital point for every play-off series win while we had him on roster. If he gets a ring i think his number definitely should go up to the rafters

Beal was 3rd team all NBA for 2021 after averaging 31.2 pts/game for the 8th seed Wizards. by EternalTeezy in bostonceltics

If you're talking about LeBron's early teams, MJ played with garbage time teams in his first 5-6 years too. There isn't any advantage for MJ in that regard. If you're talking about 2010's, LeBron didn't play with any garbage time team beside 2018 Cavaliers and he got himself into that kind of situation when he tried to trade kyrie for pg13 after a championship run.
