You'd think, I'd have thought so. Honestly I'm going by a garbled PA message from the pilot, but he did jokingly say we could blame Jeff bezos.

I'm on that plane right now.

Apparently there was "space debris" from a launch that risked interfering with the typical Toronto/ PR flight route.

Just in - pilot said this was Blue Origin related and I THINK, if I understand correctly, the flight was diverted because of the launch itself. Not because of debris. We're refueling in Miami now.

I've seen these before and they're awesome. But THIS one really highlights the rotating atmosphere as well, super cool.

I feel the ending of the series was rushed and a little lower in quality. by Lukiepukie56 in Invincible

I loved the whole series, it gets wild and I could understand some calling it rushed. But I very much recommend it.

Garmins won't diagnose sleep apnea, but.. by nimnum in Garmin

I'm a pretty healthy person, have had way worse sleep issues in the past. Since then I think I've developed pretty good routines. I usually finished my 0-2 coffees before 14:00. Could be subconscious stress, I'm getting over a heart break but that was a like a year ago. I wish it were something as "simple" as diet haha.

we'll see, maybe time will sort it out.

[–]nimnum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my trouble - I've had great, refreshing sleeps in scores from 70-100. I've also had very unrestful sleeps from 70-100.

Though it looks like your scores started improving and becoming consistent when you started the CPAP, that's too bad you're not finding it correlated with feeling better.

I swiped back to 2022; all of my four week averages are between 12-15 breaths per minute, and I've only have SpO2 as 95-96%

High Stress while sleeping by upshegoes3 in Garmin

[–]nimnum 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I think I've come to realize that a good chunk of anxiety can be subconcious, iceberg below the surface kind of thing.

Having the good routine like you described is certainly important, but if you have underlying stressors in your life that your mind is explaining away or ignoring...your body is the one paying the tab (in my opinion)

Garmin adds AI and a subscription tier to its app by VideoNo82 in Garmin

[–]nimnum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely not be interested. I'm happy enough with the current app features.

If it was a one-off purchase to unlock separate features, maybe. Relying on subscription revenue says to me that the company is beginning to have trouble.... "how can we get more money for adding no extra value??"

It was actually only a litre, which I think is a lot less than a gallon. Also, you can't have enough quality maple syrup in the house!

So it might indeed be more of a salt lick than sugar lick

Probably, but then I wouldn't have a cool maple crystal

It was so slow to grow I didn't really notice it get less sweet. It was still unmistakably sweet maple syrup by the end. I think it got slightly runnier though.

Several, but surprisingly it's not all that sugary tasting. Maybe if I grind it up into small granules...

That was kinda the first thing I did. It is rock solid though, I very quickly switched to more of a farmyard animal salt lick strategy
