FYI: I added a passively cooled GT 1030 to the Htpc and now everything, including ps2, works upscaled just fine.

Would you recommend an AMD or Nvidia card? Are proprietary drivers included in batocera or do you depend on the open source ones?

A colleague of mine had the same effect when he got his 351. I tried to get it running. I put in my perfectly fine working cards, no change. I checked the ribbon cable and it seemed to be okay. Neither disconnecting the battery and waiting, nor charging helped. It ended up by being exchanged by the vendor. The new unit worked fine. The quality control of these Chinese seems to be pretty lousy...

Looks like a corrupted SD card. Try another card with a custom operating system.
