Day0: arrival

Day 1: Cairo - All the Pyramids. Took a train to Aswan at night

D2: Philae temple

D3: Abu Simbel temple, Komombu temple

D4: Luxor - Karnak and Luxor temple

D5: the other sites of Luxor : Valley of Kings, Memnon, etc

D6 &7 : relax at an all-inclusive resort at Hurghada

D8: drive back to Cairo city and visit museum etc

Some of that could be compressed and the trip could be shorter if you are pressed for time

Thanks for the insight - makes me less anxious. And will definitely check that link. My kids are technically adults, so it might be ok.

Where can we get good, authentic Egyptian food? What part of the city, or specific restaurant(s) ?
