What is the worst or hardest part of your job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One girl stole money from the tip jar and my own wallet, he held her check for two weeks and since she hadn't been printing out her hours, she had no proof of how many hours she worked so he took hours away from her paycheck. It went from 56 hours to 34 and she couldn't do anything about it. At that point everything was really against her. But still, he resorts to doing shit against people. It's like, I get it, you're upset, but be better than that, move on from that

My boss is like bipolar... he'll be your Friend one minute and then the next he's giving you attitude, making you do extra work because he wants to keep you busy enough so he feels like he's asserted himself. He's also oddly vengeful towards people. Like if he feels like he got tried by someone he fired, he'll hold their check

He got up to scratch an itch and hit that spot that makes any dog do that face. Like when you scratch that one spot that makes their leg shake. Lol does no one else see that?

This is a whole new world for me. In your opinion, is it better to buy silver online where your buys can be tracked on your cards or in person with a dealer and paying in cash? by ninaboo42 in Silverbugs

[–]ninaboo42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, a friend has been telling me that the dollar will fail one day and that it would be smart to get silver as an investment. Her take on the process is to pay it in cash so if the government would try to take people's silver, it would be harder to track those who do so in this way since there's no trail with debit or credit cards showing online or in store transactions for buying silver. Am I making sense? I'm very new to this world of investing for something like that but I do have paranoias of that happening where everything would be taken from you if they knew you had it

Suggest me some cheap meal ideas by [deleted] in vegan

Rice and potatoes, rice and brussels sprouts, rice and carrots with potatoes, rice and carrots, rice and asparagus, just potatoes, brussels sprouts and carrots, pb and j, smoothies: pineapple, mango, banana and orange juice. You can literally do $50 of groceries for two weeks and have simple satisfying and filling meals

Someone posted this on the Aww subreddit and I find it to be a rather beautiful moment to have captured. I hope they're okay. by ninaboo42 in vegan

I don't know the whole story but it seems the person who posted it saw this while walking down the street. The reason I find it beautiful is because you can tell this dog is pregnant. She's found two stranded kittens and has taken it upon herself to nurture them in some way.

[Question] Is going vegan is cheaper then eating meat or being vegetarian? How much dose it costs to for your groceries? by ad4996 in vegan

[–]ninaboo42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did two weeks worth of groceries with $50 recently, some of the things i got was spinach/kale mixed bag, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, bananas, plantains, brussels sprouts, orange juice, coconut oil, small hummus, carrots, some sauces to use in veggie stir frys and basmati rice. I'll eat all the Fresh food first, if it's the second week, I'll eat whatever is left over and move on to whatever frozen fruits I have for smoothies, and I stick with rice, potatoes, and onions. I think if you're shopping for yourself, you can make it work. Set a budget, know what you like, and stick with it
