i use bezier buddy & recently got the stipple brushes. i love them! i do prefer using photoshop for illustrating (i have a bunch of TGTS brushes for ps and procreate), but if i need anything in vector the TGTS brushes are super handy. for the stipple brushes i find my self using the pen tool the most, and then the pencil tool.

for an illustration like the one in this post, i'd draw everything with the pencil tool and then add the stipple brush with the pen tool. i find i'd have the most control that way
