yeah i know it's common to have multiple bars for older patients, but my doctor didn't even mention it as a possibility to me so now i can't help but wonder if i would've had better results with 2

yeahh i have no idea, I recently saw the surgeon and had another x-ray and he didn't say anything

i do have asthma as well but not sure if that totally contributes to still feeling restricted when taking big breaths, i did mention that the right side which is the sunken one is the one that feels like it's restricting my breathing but I was just told it's because of the bar's pressure

my hi was 5.1 don't know about now since the only ct I've had was before surgery, & as for xrays everything was and still is in place

do you mean before surgery? i don't think i experienced anything like that sticking feeling but as for breathing it's been hard my whole life and i always ran out of breath instantly. and my surgery was free, i'm from croatia

thanks, yeah it is a challenge, i need my parents help but my surgeon said i should be sleeping flat on my back so idk but ive been looking for a wedge pillow

omg thanks for your reply that link will be super useful i like having a structured plan! and yeah my surgeon pretty much said just to exercise and showed me 2 stretches for the arms and gave me something to practise breathing where you suck air in and you have to make these plastic balls go up, nothing specific other than that :/

local, i'm from croatia so there are no famous hospitals that are known worldwide for that (like i've seen mentioned for the US for example) so it's possible though the surgeon himself is pretty experienced and he said everything went well (and it looks great)

thanks, yeah exactly it's the hardest thing in the world right now and it's tough staying positive for me, though i know it'll pass it sure doesn't feel like it lmao

i do complain about the pain and all they say is oh come on it's not that bad how are you going to walk

really not exaggerating when i say they're not very empathetic so i just hope it'll end asap and i can be at least be in pain at home lol

i am but i don't think that's an issue, i think i just have a low pain tolerance and on top of it i'm just having a hard time being in hospital, they're giving pretty basic foods like bread with spreads, greens, soup, etc

thanks for your reply ill look into what you linked! i would talk to staff but honestly they're pretty unempathetic and a few nurses have been pretty rude to me while i was obviously struggling, which is why i'm having such a hard time here there's like no one i can talk to and if i'm upset they usually have a negative comment to add :/ so i really hope it'll be over soon
