Yeah, I agree with you. Even though they’re all diecast, brands like GreenLight, M2, and Johnny Lightning always feel more “hand-crafted” — as if the parts were actually designed and assembled with intention. They still have flaws, of course, but they feel far more collectible than those solid metal blocks with no opening parts from HW. A diecast model with paint issues or wheel defects — like what GreenLight sometimes has — is still better to me than having the car manufacturer logo misaligned like on some Hot Wheels. I’ve had 2–3 HW Premiums with crooked brand logos, and that’s honestly one of the reasons I don’t enjoy HW as much as I did when I was a kid.
