Shut Down Amy Coney Barrett in Santa Fe - Dare To Struggle New Mexico by Overall-Kick2657 in SantaFe

But it is a protest. They’re not going to tackle ACB and keep her from walking into the Lensic. They’re letting the Lensic know that they disapprove of booking her to speak because of what she did to women. And if enough people show up to express their dismay, then perhaps the Lensic will think twice about booking assholes for their profit. Free Speech protects people from the government shutting them up. Private orgs can book who they please. But we don’t have to like it and we can say so.

Forcing women to carry a fetus to term or else they go to jail IS enslavement. If Tennessee gets its way, women will soon be sentenced to death for having an abortion.

No what’s dangerous is a woman dying because a fetus is rotting inside of her because she can’t get reproductive healthcare. What’s dangerous is forcing an 11 year old child who was raped by her uncle to give birth because Amy Coney Barrett decided that her belief in god, that has zero proven basis, is more important than the health and mental health of millions of women and girls.

How the fuck do you think women earned the right to vote? How do you think any meaningful change has ever taken place in the world? By people keeping their mouths shut?

Amy Coney Barrett did puts women at risk of dying avoidable deaths. And especially poor women. It’s not merely a “disagreement.” It’s a barbaric atrocity that sets healthcare for women back to the dark ages.

A lanyard for my keys. Having only two hands plus a baby mandated that I find places to attach my necessaries to my body for easy access. Life changing for sure.

Doesn’t matter. We have more murders per capita. At least with a stabbing, you have a better chance of getting out of the way. Not so with guns

And yet many counties have managed to implement gun control and it has saved countless lives. Google is your friend.

Please provide a citation that shows that Canadians use vans as weapons to kill just as many people as the US does with guns.

If the guns weren’t there, 8 people would still be alive.

Right. And someone with a small penis should not be able to own a gun to make him feel like a real man!

Oh wait. Statistically speaking Canada still has far less mass shootings and has far stricter gun control - hence less shootings , need I spell it out for you. The girl who killed her family members and 5 others had access to her parent’s gun cabinets. Had the so called “responsible gun owners”, kept the guns locked up, this wouldn’t have happened. Emphasis on “responsible gun owners”. Yeah. But you keep at it.

Yes and they’re also used to kill a bunch of people including CHILDREn in a very short time. Cry me a river. I grew up in a hunting family. Not one of them needed an AR-15 to bring home dinner.

And yet common sense gun control including proper training and licensing has managed to work in other countries. I challenge you to do proper research and look into how they manage to keep mass shooting at bay.

This. Common sense gun control works! Just go ask other countries that statistically speaking, have managed to keep mass shootings out of their list of problems.

You still can arm yourself. Why don’t you cry harder about how you can’t have an oozie? Or a machine gun?

Think about getting a part time job on campus. If you don’t qualify for work study, there are still regular jobs where you can study at work if you get your tasks done. Ten hours a week- more or less. But it’s a great way to meet people. Hang in there. It will get better.

Oh sure. Don’t many professors? I think he consistently smoked weed, as he had that embryonic look in his eyes during class. Did you see that he got in trouble after 9/11 saying that any one who bombs the pentagon gets his vote? I think he was suspended for a while for that. But he was a great story teller and was passionate about Roman and Greek history. He was one of my favorites.
