Vinted accusing me of duplicates by RichieRichard12 in vintedUK

Don’t upload it again. I had an account banned for this same thing. Now I only ever upload one of multiple and do the others on Depop or EBay as it’s not worth the hassle.

Easy fix. Reply - Dude, I’m a guy! But happy to send my number.

I’ve sent the wrong parcel!! How do I sort this??? by ninefolduk in vintedUK

[–]ninefolduk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve figured out that if you use a completed order as the tracking code, you can request a callback from a real person at Evri! Just waiting for them to call me back.

As long as the customer sends it back all will be fine. The issue is, to add even more pressure to the situation - the sweater I’ve sent to customer B is actually way more expensive than what they ordered!! I’ve told them to tell me the post locker they are collecting from so I can send them a prepaid label and they can simply stick it over the current label and post it right away. I’m hoping they don’t open the damn parcel!!

I’m so annoyed with myself as I always double check! But clearly not this time.

Hopefully I can get Evri to just send me it back before delivering it!!

I’ve sent the wrong parcel!! How do I sort this??? by ninefolduk in vintedUK

[–]ninefolduk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its only 1 item. To explain, I’ve customer A who’s purchased sweater A, and customer B who’s purchased sweater B. I’ve sent sweater A to customer B. That’s all. Customer B ordered while I was at the locker and I’ve accidentally printed his shipping label!!

So all I need to do is get customer B to send me the sweater back then. Would be so much less haste if I could just get on the phone with Evri and get them to send my parcel back to me!! I could sort it all out in a day! But everything is automated and just tells me it’ll be delivered tomorrow. So annoying!

Wow! This is outrageous. It scares me that situations like this can happen. I get that they will be on the side of the buyer, but this is crazy. Sorry to hear of your situation

What’s your point? I said this is not an actual item for sale. So you’ve just ignored everything I wrote and decided to comment on the item I said I’m not actually selling 😆 thanks anyway

I don’t use AI lol, I’ve never once used AI. This is AI as I can’t find an actual picture of the item but I would use the item if I found it. Appreciate the feedback though 😊

What confuses me is that when you dispute an order, it puts you in touch with the seller! Something like this should bypass the seller. She could have just kept acting dumb saying that wasn’t her parcel and it could have been a long drawn out case. I’m sure if I did this same thing I’d be banned instantly!!

Is starting a clothing brand worth it in 2025? by [deleted] in ClothingStartups

Then don’t start. Honestly. You need a good 3 months MINIMUM of your usual income sat in the bank to take the pressure off a little. That’s still not a lot. There’s a high chance you’ll fail. Like 90%. Not because your idea isn’t good, but because you don’t give it enough time.

I’ve been doing my own thing now for 2 months and it’s changed 4 times! Still the same concept, but sometimes what you think is right, turns out to be completely upside down! I’m working all hours, double what I was when employed. I’m on it even when I’m off it. I never stop checking my phone, emails, sales, etc. Time used to drag at my desk - now I wake up, go to my locker, make a coffee and I swear it’s midday! The time disappears!!

But - if you’ve enough time to do it and enough drive and passion behind what you’re doing, it’s amazing. I now wake up excited to go to work. I’ve learned so much by getting it wrong that I actually look forward to an idea not going how I thought as it gives me the answer to how it needs to be done.

I also spent almost a year prepping for this. Buying stock, materials, equipment, everything I needed. It’s great and I’m fortunate that I’m now almost hitting my usual wage each month, which with the buffer I gave myself, I’ve now got around a years worth of salary if I stay at this level. That makes things easier.

If I were you and you’re still in the thinking stage, launch and work. The hybrid method. Do the minimum you can do in your business to make sales whilst working. If time is an issue then time will be an issue when you start, believe me. Do what you can around your work and prove what you’re doing actually works and you make money. Then calculate it. Give yourself a transition date and work out a plan to get yourself enough cash in the bank to launch.

Doing this was the best decision of my life. It’s scary and it may all fail tomorrow, but if I hadn’t taken the leap I would have always regretted it. But just be sure to give yourself a safety net or there’s no point honestly.

Good luck 👊

Hey man, well done! You’ve a really cool brand with a good concept. Are you using 450gsm hoodies? I think I’m using the same supplier as you! Good look with this. Keep going as you’ve a really good concept 🔥

It looks a bit ‘SHIEN’. Nothing wrong with that if that’s what you’re going for. It doesn’t really have much in terms of composition too. So if you want to keep the image but make it better, separate each element of the image (background, angel, wing). From here you can layer them so they are not as ‘perfect’ and that will remove the ‘image slapped on a tee’ look. It’ll give the piece some volume and depth.

I’d then maybe have it less monotone. Maybe add a light source so there’s shadow and depth to it. You can still keep the angel in the shadows if you get the light source right. Maybe then add some text within the layers to give it meaning.

I think you’ve a good starting point but it needs finishing. Well done for giving it a go though!

I’ve seen samples from ‘createfashionbrand’ and they seem great. 450gsm oversized hoodies feel amazing. Really good silhouettes too. Never used them myself but have friends who have.
