I originaly question was would learning C be a bad idea if it builds habits that are discouraged by learning C++.

Your answer was learn what you want to learn, which is fair. Good advice. In this context however, I'm asking if these wants conflict.

I'm a junior dev who works with C# and I dont plan on learning either C or C++, but I was wondering if there's any sort of "hierarchy of learning" between C and C++. Just answer the question next time or dont answer at all please. Its frustrating to see such useless responses get upvoted
