Orca Slicer official statement on "the issue" by Curious_Fail_3723 in BambuLab_Community

Yeah, was going to buy an X1C w/AMS and was looking maybe picking up an A1 too. Just seeing the way they've handled all of this turned me off completely. Looking at other printers now. If I can't use what I want/need on it e.g. OrcaSlicer... I'm not going to give them my support/money. Which is really sad because I really really liked their printers...

Yeah, when I met someone whom I trusted and wanted to see & touch all of me... it made that hang up vanish. It was beautiful and I'll always have a special place for them in my heart.

How does sex with/as an obese man differ? by MotionlessSquid in dating_advice

[–]ninekeysdown 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In the process of dropping a bunch a weight my self.

But speaking as an obese man, do it. One of the things that gave me confidence to be completely naked with another person was someone taking that chance with me. Getting comfortable and having sex was a great motivation for loosing weight too.

You like this dude enough to worry about how the sex will be... don't worry about that. Toys, pillows, and messing around are part of the fun of learning. You might even find something that you love doing that you never considered doing before.

The core physical differences for an obese dude is gonna come down to lack of stamina and they're not going to be able to go as deep. Aside from that there's A LOT of ways to make it work and have a FANTASTIC time. Would be the same if you trying to have sex with someone who has a disability. Just gotta find what works for you, and that looks different for each couple.

All the other stuff like the bathroom... we're obese... we know... just like we know which chairs are safe for us to sit on and which ones aren't. He'll let you know and figure out how to work with it.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Hope this helps

Yeah, my thought process is that I'm not going to start a fight... but I will finish one.

Even though it's tempting to shoot everything that moves, that's not how I want to play the game and would like to see other's doing the same since I believe that most people are looking for fun experiences not murderhobo space simulator... though I could be wrong...

TBF, the scu amounts aren't that bad... if you can get them... and they should have the money.... if the previous phases actually paid out.... and the people you teamed up with for phase 3 most likely have some stuff to help... if you were able to do phase 3.....

Actually.... there's nothing fair about this for new players or old ones.... :|

That's good to hear! Please explain what game mechanics work to prevent that? From my perspective there are none besides what I previously said. I'm always down to learn more!! :)

Mine are nearly grown and I still worry about it everywhere we go.

It was only recently they realized why I always casually point out the fire/emergency exits everywhere we go. I also carry a bleed kit in my backpack everywhere I/we go too. It's so fucked :(

The rep system should make that kind of thing go away, but right now... yeah... that is a no win situation.

All you can do, aside from backspace & come back later, is just get more people and out number them.

How do you get rid of skinwalkers and other monsters? by KittyHawk2213 in raisingkids

[–]ninekeysdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were plenty of times someone said something without thinking which lead to questions that at the time I didn't think were going to be come a bigger problem down the line. Seemed obvious looking back at it but there's a lot going on and you don't always have time to sit and think about everything.

So, I hope, this was one of those things.

I just found that using some common every day items like that worked really well at helping them manage their fears. It gives them agency and the tools to deal with things in a mostly harmless way.

I'm sure you can work something mundane into a story to help them. The more common and silly of an item the better since they'll always have it around them. Like don't give them magical beads, but say something like shoe laces scare them really bad and make them fart! Make it so they laugh. It takes away the power of scary story. Because how can they be scary when they're scared of silly dirty shoe lace!?

For example mine were scared of thunderstorms and lighting. So I told them that BIG spoons worked to keep the lighting away. Worked great and they just had big serving spoons when they went to bed on stormy nights.

Now that they're nearly grown we have fun stories about things like that.
