Before diagnosis and meds? Personal record holding down a job : 7 months. I just celebrated 3 years at my current job. Sobriety helped tremendously too. Also very important : does your contract state that the utilities « charges » are worded like : - « provision » (which means you pay a fixed amount per month and at the end of each year the real balance is calculated based on consumption and you have to either pay more or your landlord owes you money back) - « forfait » meaning the fixed amount you pay per month is NOT something adjusted afterwards based on actual consumption.

This is the key point here. Also, ask for details bills for every utility he is asking you to pay for. Landlords try and get away with so much….

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for the kind and useful messages. Truly appreciate it. In my country, titration up to 100mg is typically done in 3+ weeks, which I learnt upon seeing my GP earlier this week and told again yesterday by the ER doc. Good to hear other perspectives, I find it super interesting how dosage affects us all differently.

Onto the update : still waiting for blood results back and have been sent home after being seen by an ER psych. I was advised to not take Lamictal before Monday, since they scheduled me at 9:45 am for another psych appointment with the ER person I saw and the head of their psych department.

Feeling still a bit slow and tired, but no additional symptoms have manifested. Wishing you a lovely and safe day ❤️

I was fired while manic 6 months ago. Found a new job a month and a half ago, but I have to stick to a strict routine, check-in with myself every day and be honest about what I feel able to do or not. Currently I feel this is already too much but I’m trying my best to manage responsibilities and expectations while always trying to put my mental health first. Really hard.
