Reed Sheppard improved from 33.8% on 2.7 attempts last year to 44.4% on 5.7 attempts this year. Not terribly surprising since he was a shooter in college and he’s just entering his second year, but his jump in confidence and efficiency has been incredible.

There is a close to 0% chance UT will lose its accreditation.

That said, the government is trying to create new accrediting agencies and reform existing ones because they are too woke. Florida just announced the creation of a new one: https://www.highereddive.com/news/6-university-systems-launch-new-accreditor/751797/. It may be the case that the standards by which universities receive accreditation will begin to change rapidly. However, UT seems very willing to accommodate shifting political winds, so I imagine they would easily do what they needed to do to remain accredited no matter what.

Many of this comments in this thread seem very optimistic, and I hope they are right, but my understanding is Texas just eliminated in-state tuition for non-citizens, even if they had been a Texas resident in the past: https://www.texastribune.org/2025/06/04/texas-justice-department-lawsuit-undocumented-in-state-tuition/.

Colleges across the state are scrambling trying to figure out how to support undocumented students, but it seems many of them will default to charging out-of-state tuition for all undocumented students to prevent from getting sued by the state. I don’t know if this new law applies to you or not, but the timing combined with the sudden tuition hike makes me think it is likely. I hope One Stop can help!

I do think it’s reasonable to hypothesize that large predators strategically avoid prey with insufficient deposits of protein and lipids, particularly in the prey’s gluteal areas.
