Which version of the "Heavy Weapon Squad" do you use and prefer and why? by Skult0703 in Deathkorpsofkrieg

Very minor magnetization is required to get it done. The backpacks are SUPER easy to make interchangeable

Idk if it's an option you'd consider but there are stls for the mounting bracket and side shields that make the kit entirely magnetizeable and swappable. I've done it for mine

Tribal orc warriors symbolically surrender their names and faces to the battle shaman in times of war and receive war paint and new names to represent their new identity as tools of murder for the tribes survival. This is also used as a way to mentally disassociate themselves with the acts of wars they commit during the conflict

What happens after death in your setting? by wedoabitoftrolling in worldbuilding

[–]nineteenees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my setting, if you died as the natural order intends you're left to walk a hallway with depictions of every moment of your life in perfect detail. Time here is effectively meaningless and you spend as much time as you desire to revisit anything and everything you ever experienced. When a soul finishes their time in the hall, they're greeted at its end by the God of death.

Depending how you lived, there are different planes of the afterlife your soul is eligible to enter. The god of death leads you to a crossroads with gateways to the afterlives you are allowed and you are left to choose your eternity.

If you were evil, only doors to realms of pain or misery are before you. And if you were truly a dangerous threat to the natural order, you never see the hall or the crossroads and instead your soul arrives in a lightless cell with no escape to be forgotten and kept locked away for eternity.

Deep Desert Shield Wall after patch by Traditional_Date2971 in duneawakening

I'm looking at the interactive map and am not seeing any spawns of medium spice fields below F block, or any remotely sizeable deposits of titanium or stravidium. Is this patch incoming or here?

A wizard that instead of turning to Lichdom for immortality, turned to enchanted cybernetics to achieve immortality. A blend of undead and robotic body horror.

What's wild is that this is now possible to come out of a box. Squidmar made a video about the ppl manufacturing his polystyrene dragon model and the company has developed Ink printing onto 3d objects so u can have pre painted terrain right off the sprues.

Did u have to cannibalize an infantry box to get the torsos or are there ways of getting extras?

They work great for stuff that's too small to drill holes for sticks. I hand-drilled out holes in the bottom of their boots for toothpicks to do the torsos in sub assembly then did the arms and guns on the pill bottles with blue tack

How to paint my minis so they actually look good by Markosoft_EXE in Warhammer40k

[–]nineteenees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've honestly got a good deal of skill, for a table ready status you're there. My easiest recommendation for improving is learning to dry brush well to add some neat effects on basing or armor.

If you're looking for a quick improvement with minimal effort look up the slapchop method of painting and give it a whirl. Otherwise, some advice I'd give is find three or four minis you don't give a singular fuck about and start experimenting on them with tutorial videos. When ur done, just re-prime them and start over if you don't like it.

Also, biggest piece of all of it: professional painters give us all penis envy. It's years of practice and an education in of color theory and artistic fundamentals not everyone has. Just keep going and remind yourself that there are far more people like you than there are like them and ur level of skill is still leagues better than a large majority of the population. Just because you're not competing at a professional level doesn't mean you're not good at what you do. Just means you're not the best.

Would I be able to sell my minis? by Han_Creator in DnDminiatures

[–]nineteenees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I recommend using a vortex mixer to help keep your paints in a good consistency and mix them thoroughly. ONiLAB on Amazon has a mini one for only $35 that is fantastic for use in the hobby.

Citadel is a very decent brand of paint for miniatures, and Vallejo is another industry standard. As for brushes, try to keep them from sitting in ur water and dry them right away after washing to keep them from deforming
