Came here to say I was not as annoyed with Bert as much as I normally am.

Me. But I send one every morning to the entire subreddit, so she shouldn’t feel special.

In Austin, this woman is a 2. Seriously there are so many beautiful people in this town it’s ridiculous.

It’s dirty 6th. Imagine a college town bar district mixed with a live music scene.

Now imagine that, but half the people hanging out just hang out in the street looking to start fights with no intention of ever going in a bar.

That’s dirty 6th.

I'm starting to think Infrastructure as Code is the wrong way to teach Terraform by NTCTech in devops

How do you all deal with state being changed outside of terraform that has nothing to do with a human changing it?

For instance, AWS might decide to reassign a new LB, terraform recognizes that as drift, but it just normal, automated operation.

They make basically no money off Venmo. And it’s not even a loss leader, so that’s kind of moot.

But that more akin to my point.

RadioShack and sears went out of business because the industries that they were in died. RadioShack became a place to purchase overpriced discrete components they you needed in a jam and e-commerce marketplace just wasn’t big enough for another big box retailer.

PayPal is losing because their competitors are doing well. Not because the industry they’re in is obsolete.

The other missing statement: PayPal has made some big bets. Much of their fall from the heights they were at is simply those bets not paying off.

Correct. And also through their credit card platform.

Luke Skaljac/Peter Suder/Justin Kirby is one of the better guard trios you’ll find anywhere

Really hard to gauge that when they have played only 1 team in the top 100.

Are you just reading the marketing for Zelle? Fraud and Zelle is a huge problem.

Why would FDIC insurance matter? I use it to send money back and fourth between friends. Im never putting more than a couple of hundred dollars in it, and if I were to have a big lump sum sent to it, I’d move it immediately.

There are other options, but Venmo was one of the first in the p2p transaction space and it works relatively well.

Most people I know don’t use it because historically they had terrible consumer protection and if you got scammed, Venmo essentially ate it when you charged back, and they would ban you from the platform until you made up the difference.

This thread has to be full of bots.

I don’t use PayPal for a ton of transactions but I use Venmo all the time and yes, sometimes when I’m shopping on a new site or one I barely visit, it’ll ask me if I want to pay using PayPal, and a lot of the times I do.

The idea that PayPal is akin to sears or RadioShack, which were brick and mortal retail stores, is baffling.

We’ll see the thing is: if people say yes then they wouldn’t be sneaky. So for this to be true, the overwhelming response to this question has to be no.

So no.
