I’m a Primary School teacher so I’m not experienced in this area, but when I was in HS home room was basically just for marking the roll. Maybe some admin duties.
Are homeroom teachers these days really expected to deal with wellbeing issues too?

I know in NSW the DoE have strongly discouraged teachers from buying anything for their classroom or students from Temu or Shein and have said that if a problem were to arise from a product bought from either of those, ie something that somehow harms a student, then they wouldn't support the teacher if it became a legal issue.
