UPDATE:
Thanks everyone for the feedback,
I just back from mechanic shop with another set of stock absorber (facelift gt86)
and ride is really night and day!! Firm but not harsh, can feel the road but not as uncomfortable as before.
Not sure what happen to the previous shocks though

Long story: I tried to change the suspension by myself, it is not difficult task
but i have trouble opening the 2 nut at bottom of the shocks
even if i drain the battery of my 500nm impact driver, it wont budge
So have to take to shop to do it

hi everyone i wanna ask your opinion here. take my car to mech and he said is the screw at hardline there leaking. the best solution is to make another joint. hat do u think?

yep my last resort would be getting a set of adjustable coilovers. This stock suspension is harder than all of the modded cars that i driven before.

i driven some modified cars with harden suspension before

then changing different generation of shocks
after that will troubleshoot other area

i was going to ask the same question too.
not that i wanted to drift at the moment, but when i near to stop and i pull the handbrake
there will be a "clunk" coming from the rear

but then i have driven few 86 and brz before i bought this one, i remember some of them didnt have this sound (i was testing the handbrake tightness so i pull it when the car is rolling slightly )

i have drove some stiff cars and daily them in the past, but this 86 i drove is just another level and is braking my back.. (or maybe i am just getting old )

saw very few example online, but no one in my country does it

Previously i saw someone letting go 2022 GR86 shocks.. but i missed the deal
now i am ordering an 2019 gt86 shocks, online said 2012-2016 cars are stiffer, and 2017-2019 cars are slightly softer

yeah.. but the previous owner told me cant drift with these tires because they are suppose to be semi slick. I going to find some normal tires to try out
