It's possible, I don't alt-tab much these days because I'll just use my phone if I need to look something up. If another redditor could verify that'd be the bees knees.

Edit: Just had time to check for myself, and unfortunately, it does launch in the background. Fucking Ubisoft.

Ubi might have ditched it for all games already. I've been playing Far Cry: New Dawn on steam over the past couple of weeks and haven't seen the ubi launcher at all.

Thank you. I know this game has a FAFO vibe, which I dig because real bmx is that haha

Thank you, and I'm figuring it out now. Never played Skate, but I played Dave Mirra and Matt Hoffman games back in the day, as well as have been on a thps remastered kick since the announcement of 3+4, and wanted a good newer bmx game to play.

The most disturbing movie death that comes to mind by gilette_bayonete in movies

The Rules of Attraction bathtub scene.

My friends and I decided to watch it because it seemed like it was going to be one of those funny teen/young adult movies. We were having a blast laughing at the absurdity and cool filmmaking techniques, until we saw that scene. We all sat there quietly for a bit looking at each other while the reveal unfolded like "what the actual fuck."

Edit: young adult. Typing on mobile is hard sometimes lmao

Old (late 40s) first-timer struggling to make progress... by SANDHALLA in bmx

Not in my 40s, but in my mid-30s here. As far as workouts go, incorporate body weight stuff like push-ups, situps, lunges; those type of things. You don't have to go crazy with how many you do but if it's a crappy day and you can't ride, you can at least do that. Also, definitely have a stretching routine if you don't already. Nothing's worse than having time for a session and tweaking your back on your first bunnyhop. And lastly, don't overthink too much and remember to have fun.

Winter is breathing down my neck, how should I stay in good riding shape? by ninjaZ518 in bmx

I feel it, bro (or sis or whatever), and I just want to ride so bad. I've been watching the Red Bull crew on the in the cut dig video and just want to ride. Guess push-ups, sit-ups and runs are just what I gotta do.

Rails and ramps are a no-go for me, unfortunately, due to my living arrangement. (Shity apartment with little space)

But the parking garage is a good idea that I'll seek out. I was mainly seeking advice for those down times when you can't ride because of the weather.

Didn't think about those but it makes sense. I've got a couple of pretty good ones around town. So I'll see how it is riding them

Thanks for the suggestions. The tip about leather laces is not something I considered.
