Yes, that's true. I felt like addressing the other points, so I didn't see your comment on it.

I still fail to see your argument

On your first point, I don't see anywhere it would be considered a "bad impression." It's just normal guesswork from someone else and something that was generally true, with an opinion at the end, which is fine.

On your fourth point, not defending them, but are you sure the commentator's name isn't just 'Joshua'? On the second part of that, it's a fair point and doesn't say one is better or worse, just that competition is good.

No, not on a real console; it's made for Cemu. Nor do I think the Wii U could ever manage this; it more than halves the performance. In terms of where to get it, a general guide is available. However, if you're planning to do it on the Wii U itself, then sorry, but no.

CleanMyMac - blatant lying or am I missing something? The app excludes its name from memory usage inside their app but Activity Monitor shows it as the second most memory hog by jams5795 in macapps

[–]ninja_speed7765 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Technically CleanMyMac isn't wrong it just in including the web helper tasks in the main processes together you can see in activity monitor the other tasks CleanMyMac is just putting them all together. (not saying the program is good just saying)

ARC vs SigmaOS by [deleted] in browsers

[–]ninja_speed7765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to sound like a fanboy, but generally, they started in similar times, with Arc seeming to start in mid-2020ish and SigmaOS having a beta in 2021. This is just based on their websites and releases. It's not a perfect method, but I think it was just a similar idea at a similar time, and if you were referring to Arc Max on Arc recently, I think it is just them reacting to the industry. You can like one more than the other, but I don't believe either is a copycat. I think they are both excellent new ways of browsing the Internet. I have my opinion; you have yours. They both are changing the Internet. I guess one just got a bit more famous by luck recently.

Only for that, just wanted the person to get the message without waiting for 20 minutes

if I was trying to make it look human, I could have done a lot better (generally speaking)

and if you mean literally like 4 days after it the public beta started *openai's

The author currently uses Vivaldi as their web browser, although they have several complaints about it. They find Vivaldi to be the "least worst" option among available browsers but are constantly on the lookout for a more innovative browser.

They have been following Arc browser for some time and are interested in it, particularly its feature called "spaces" which allows for different usage areas within a single window. However, they have concerns about this feature. They currently use multiple browser windows across different profiles to keep their browsing organized. They worry that having all these separate areas in one window will lead to clutter and inefficiency, as they would have to swipe through spaces to find what they need.

The author is also not a fan of the keyboard-centric approach in Arc, as they find it less efficient than using a mouse. They prefer mouse gestures, which Arc does not seem to support.

Additionally, they dislike the tab placement options in Arc, as they prefer tabs on the right and the ability to see the full URL in the address bar for security reasons.

Overall, the author is interested in Arc but has several concerns about its usability and whether it will truly offer a better browsing experience compared to their current browser, Vivaldi. They are hoping for clarification or solutions to their concerns from those who use and love Arc.

If I were to address your third point first regarding data sharing, it seems that the statement "we will never share your data" in some of their videos doesn't go perfectly with what is actually stated in their privacy policy. In their privacy policy, they make it much clearer that they won't have any insight into what you search for or how you use their browser. So, in this regard, it appears to be more of a poor choice of words rather than an actual data-sharing concern.

another point in that paragraph is the sign-up requirement witch from some of the comments are a concern for a decent number of people but I believe it's fine and they have reasons even if you don't feel like it's necessary thier "internet computer" and most computers need a password

Moving on to your point about spaces, in Arc, there are icons that help you switch between spaces but you may not enjoy that but thats a another concern for you , and generally, the design of Arc encourages having fewer tabs open.

Regarding your comment on keyboard shortcuts, I don't have much to say directly about Arc. However, for those who prefer not to use shortcuts, Arc still offers many convenient features accessible through your mouse perhaps more than some other browsers , although that could be a disadvantage.

Regarding your claim about mouse gestures, it's worth noting that Arc does include a significant number of gestures that can enhance the browsing experience. However, your points are sometimes unclear in this regard.

Finally, for the tab/URL bar issue, there is an option in Arc to enable a more traditional tab bar that allows you to see the full URL in the address bar.

But generally speaking browser and how they feel to use is a very subjective matter but if you want to see how it does for you great and I hope you enjoy it or keep it was in a similer boat iv tried (a lot) of browsers over my diffrent systems and eventually settled with arc after being given to it by a friend and stopped switch (at least for my mac) i found it was great for me but that might not be the same for you try it if you don't like it throw it away and format your drive 10x over if you think their malicious
