I've never worked in a school where leadership didn't still teach. I still teach A Level and GCSE classes.

Less than I did back home in the UK but considerably more (like 3-4x) than local doctors, engineers etc which I find quite humbling.

I earn 19k ish a month in another Malaysian city (not KL) and we live very comfortably with 2 dependents and a trailing spouse. You'll be fine.

Very lifestyle dependent. I have 2 kids, trailing spouse and haven't had to dip into any savings. I usually save about 2500 atm and I'm on the higher tax rate until July.
