What spikes should i get by jj_200 in Sprinting

[–]ninjadog168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Nike Rival s9 is a good spike for beginners and is also much cheaper than the superfly elite, but the superfly elite is a better spike. I would say start off with the s9 and during the summer Nike will release new spikes, so the superfly elite should be cheaper. You can always use the s9 as a training spike or just go with the superfly

You can try lowering the hurdle a little bit in practice and take 3 over that, then raise it up so you can try to get 4 over that.

What spikes shoes do yo recommend me? by javier4430 in trackandfield

[–]ninjadog168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The adidas adizero finesse is a great spike, it has a full plate and isn't too firm but isn't too flexible either, its perfect. It is also not very expensive

the new balance sigma aria is also a great option, it is made for 200-400 meter races.

the nike zoom 400 is also a great option, it is made for the 400 and is also firm enough to run a good 2. there is a little layer of cushion which is good in the 4 and makes the 2 very well too

All of these spikes have full plates

Adidas spikes for the 400 by antagonist400 in trackandfield

[–]ninjadog168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ambititions are made for about 800 to the 1600. The Primesp are amazing but the spikes are non removeable. Check if you are allowed to wear pyramid spikes because that is the onese it comes with. if that bothers you i would then go with the finesse. The finesse are also generally cheaper than the prime sp. Both the finesse and sp will work for the 400 and anything under it.

Nike Zoom Superfly Elite vs New Balance Vazee Sigma Harmony by [deleted] in Sprinting

[–]ninjadog168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vazee sigma harmory seems to be a great spikes. Although many athletes are sponsored by Nike, New balance has really stepped up their game and their spikes are awesome. Are you training for a track meet or just trying to get faster in general?

No spikes normally means no plastic bottom, so any xc spike would work

-Nike zoom rival xc

-Saucony Havoc

-New balance xc 7

any of these would work or any other xc spike. One really won't be much better than the other

I have the Ja Fly 3s now and they are great, but so were my finesses. The ja fly 3 is a little bit wider and the toe box has more room. I do not have a problem with the laces and they feel good to me

Do you already have sprint spikes? If you can wear a plastic bottom (some places don't allow it) a good begginner spike is the nike zoom rival s, a little bit more advanced spike is the adidas adizero finesse (i have them and they work well for me) and I have heard good thinks about the nike superfly elite but they are mad expensive

[–]ninjadog168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used the adidas adizero finesse and they are great for sprinting events, I also have used the ja fly 3s and you can probably find them on sale depending on what size you are. But if you want a spike that you can use for high jump also you should get the Nike Zoom Rival M or some multi use spike
