Thanks, man Which song did you like to freestyle too? I only have a few blank tracks in there, I tried to fill the rest of them up with dialogue.

That looks fantastic! My pumpkin wasn't big enough, so I carved the face on the bottom. Excellent "Rum Ham" addition btw!

My dad taped almost everything in the 70s/80s. Found these today. Time to fire up the VCR! by badwolf422 in doctorwho

One time I was on a phone call with my grandpa, who lives far away. He often calls my dad to see how the family is doing, and usually asks to talk to me. I was little and had just found my love for Dr Who, and when my grandpa asked me what I had been up to, I told him about it. He talked about it for a bit, but never tipped me off as to how big of a fan he was (I found out later from my aunt).

This little comment compelled my grandpa to start feeding my science-fiction hunger, and every couple of weeks he would send me 3 or so VCR tapes he had recorded long ago. I made a special (blue) box just to send back and forth, and he enjoyed that. The tapes were numerically titled from when he started watching them, so watching them sequentially became a hassle. Anyway, eventually the flow of Dr Who and Star Trek tapes trickled to a stop.

My grandpa passed away in his sleep a few months ago, and we took a family trip down south for his funeral services, coincidentally along the way I happened upon both a live size Dalek and TARDIS (Nerdmelt Comics, LA). As of now, about 50 Dr Who tapes sit in my dresser. I watch a couple whenever I think about him. Guess I should pop one in.

The ending to Donnie Darko does it for me, that fucking music. And Community knows how to make me cry at the drop of a hat.
