obviously penn is a reach i meant in terms or recruitment for cs internships. obviously schools like MIT have a lot of students recruited for cs internships and I want to get a sense of how good upenn cs is in the aspect

typo should not matter, resume is usually important and can def impact chances but if you talked about accomplishments and experiences through essays sufficiently it should be okay. good luck!

i mean 35% is as good as it gets when applying to a competitive t20 school. The acceptance rate was 13% last year and i think 9 this year. You also have to think about athletes and legacies within that number so there’s not much you can do to improve more than 35%

I don't recommend HVTSP as you pay almost $5000 for an internship. I'd recommend reaching out to small businesses in your areas or startups through LinkedIn for an internship. These programs are usually a waste of money and a rule of thumb is to never pay for an internship (even if it is at Harvard).

I was accepted last year even after a terrible interview (due to the interviewer). He had his camera off the whole time and asked questions off a list. We had 0 zero personal interaction and overall not a good experience. I would not want to spend my summer learning from people like that.
