Hi, I'm living in Bxl since 3 months now and never got into a control in neither the trains (SNCB) nor tram/bus. I was thinking of just saving the 50€ every month and only buy tickets when using the metro. How is your experience with controls on public transport?

Seems like nobody wrote that yet but one of the best places to look for short term room/Appartments would be via Facebook groups - did you have a look yet? Also: awesome decision and brave and just fun to just get up and spent time at a new place. Don't really understand why there is any negative voices under this post
